State your name, and where your kennel is located.
The kennel is The Bullycampline. My name is Jesus Zermeno. I’m known as CHUY in the bully game. You can find me in Muscoy, California.
What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?
Exotic bullies is my breed of choice. I have been into the pit bull breed, since I was 13 years old. I use to breed and sell them for anywhre between $200-$300.
What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?
I switch up food here and there. Imagine eating beans your whole life. It would be nice to taste something different once in a while.
What is your favorite bloodline?
Miagi Blood is my favorite bloodline. It has done what no other line has ever done.
Do you currently show, any of your dogs?
I’m not the show type. However, I love to breed me some complete
exotic bullies.
What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?
Have your own vision, and follow it. Don’t tell everybody your next move.
What do you think, is the most difficult thing for people in the bullygame to overcome?
I think the most difficult thing to overcome is the hate and envy.
How do you think they can overcome this thing?
That’s simple. People just need to mind their own business.
Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?
I look up to anybody that is positive, and trying to better the breed.
Tell us about one of your most memorable moments, in 2017.
Payroll, my daughter, and I traveled from California to Rome, Italy for a 3 day show. We ended up staying for 2 weeks, doing 8 breedings. It was a blast.
Describe how you would want things, in the bully Community, to be 10 years from now.
If people aren’t careful, and using selective breeding healthwise, they aren’t going to make it to 10 years.
What separates your kennel from the competition?
We breed for ourselves. We don’t follow the hype. Therefore, we are our own competition.
What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?
Aside from these dogs, I have a farm. I also breed horses, goats, pigs etc. I love having animals! LOL
What motto do you live by?
K.A.R.M.A.
What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine?
I love what you guys are doing for the bully community. Keep up the good work!
