State your name, your kennel, and where your kennel is located. 

My name is Mark, of South Coast Bullies. We are located on the South Coast of England.

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?

South Coast Bullies breeds American Bullies, Pocket and Micro. I just love the look of the animal with its muscle and structure, the power they possess and how lovely the breed temperament is.

What is your favorite bloodline?

My favorite bloodlines are Venomline, Muscletone and Prettyline.

In your opinion, what are the characteristics of a responsible dog breeder?

Someone who breeds to better the breed, and breeds out the faults, if any. Someone who improves the breed for its muscle, size, health and functionality. 

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year? 

I feed my dogs a raw diet all year long.

How many times a day do you feed your dogs?

At South Coast Bullies, our dogs get fed 3x daily, up to 6 months, then 2x daily from 6 months on.

How do you keep your dogs in shape throughout the year?

We try to incorporate the flirt pole, walking, running, treadmill sessions and resistance work. We also incorporate our own methods in all these areas that are unique to our way of training, and what we think improving.

Walk us through the process of purchasing a pup from South Coast Bullies from start to finish.

It's not just a pup from us. You buy into the South Coast Bully Family. We are always at the end of the phone for help and advice at any stage of the dog's life. 

Do you currently show any of your dogs?

We currently do not show our dogs due the current situation worldwide. Until everything has settled, we will not entertain the ideas of shows. 

What advice does South Coast Bullies have for any upcoming breeders?

Just do you and forget everyone else.

What do you think is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?

The bad stigma still attached to the breed.

How do you think they can overcome this problem?

By treating and training the dog right. Showing everyone what the bully breed is about, and how they are the best tempered breed.

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?

Dedinedbullz - without him I wouldn't have gotten started, and he is very inspirational. I owe this man a lot.

Muscletone bullies/ RBBK- what they have built, created, and achieved continues to grow there vision.

Tell us about one of South Coast Bullies main goals for 2022.

To take our picks from our litters. To pick the foundations for our look and our kennel. The vision is becoming reality. 

Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.

I would like to see the breed accepted properly in the UK. I would also like to see people support each other, help each other succeed, and work towards the same goal.

What separates South Coast Bullies from the competition?

We are not in competition with anyone. 

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?

I have an interest in cars and enjoy going to the gym.
