Mosselini Bully Bloods Kennel: XL American Bully Breeder

State the name of your kennel.

The name of my kennel is Mosselini Bully Bloods Kennel.

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?

At Mosselini Bully Bloods Kennel, we breed American XL Bullys. I was inspired by a friend who’s been breeding for twenty years now.

What is your favorite bloodline?

My favorite bloodlines are RBG Sunline, BGK, and DDK9.

In your opinion, what are the characteristics of a responsible dog breeder?

The biggest characteristic of a responsible breeder is knowing your dog’s flaws. 

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?

My dogs are fed kibble and raw food.

How many times a day do you feed your dogs?

Twice a day the dogs are fed.

How do you keep your dogs in shape throughout the year?

The dogs are kept in shape by running and swimming.

Walk us through the process of purchasing a pup from your kennel from start to finish.

Here is the process you can expect when purchasing a pup at Mosselini Bully Bloods Kennel: 

• The potential customer will be asked a few screening questions such as: what is your current income? What is your current living situation? What is your purpose in getting a puppy? I also ask if they have knowledge of the breed.
• They are given all of the information necessary about how to manage a puppy until it's one year old. 
• We try to do house visits of potential customers, if possible.
• Lastly, if everything checks out okay, we offer a contract.

Do you currently show any of your dogs?

Currently, our kennel does not show dogs, but we would like to in the future. 

What advice do you have for any upcoming breeders?

Some advice I would give to upcoming breeders would be to make sure you read a lot, look for a good mentor, and have a vision for your kennel and why you’re breeding (If you can't put your heart in it, don’t do it).

What do you think is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?

The most difficult thing to overcome in the bully game is haters. You have to drown them out as much as you can and stay focused on your vision for your kennel. 

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?

I look up to people who are real, and those who work hard everyday to make the breed better.

Tell us about one of your main goals for 2022.

The main goal for the Mosselini Bully Bloods Kennel in 2022, is to take the flaws out of the dogs and create bullys everybody can talk about.

Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.

In 10 years, I hope there will be more positivity in the Bully community, and hope that there is a space where we can share our knowledge with each other. 

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?

Outside of breeding, I like music, dancing, and watching Netflix.
