Blvd Bullyz | American and Exotic Bully Breeder in California

State your name, your kennel, and where your kennel is located.

My name is Robert Ritter, founder of Blvd Bullyz, located in Sacramento, California.

What type of dogs do you breed, and what inspired you to get involved with that particular breed?

I breed American and Exotic Bullies, as well as French bulldogs. I was inspired by the looks  these breeds possess. They have that WOW factor.

What is your favorite bloodline?

My favorite bloodline right now would have to be Tazmanian Devil.

In your opinion, what are the characteristics of a responsible dog breeder?

You have to invest back into your program, and it takes time and money. It’s a lifestyle.

What type of diet do you keep your dogs on throughout the year?

I feed my dogs dry food along with some wet and raw as well.

How many times a day do you feed your dogs?

I typically feed my dogs twice a day, early morning and at night.

How do you keep your dogs in shape throughout the year?

I typically exercise my dogs by running/walking, and getting the ball out and throwing it around.

Walk us through the process of purchasing a pup from Blvd Bullyz from start to finish.

  • I require a deposit to lock in your pick puppy.
  • The puppy will have a vet exam with proof of good health, and all necessary shots.
  • Buyers will receive all proof of paperwork by the time pups are 8 weeks old.

Do you currently show any of your dogs?

Yes I do show one of my bully females. She is only 8 months and has been in two shows, of which she has taken Best Puppy in one, and Best Micro in the other.

What advice does Blvd Bullyz have for any upcoming breeders?

Be prepared to take big losses. Don’t be cheap when it’s quality you’re after. Follow your vision and stick to it.

What do you think is the most difficult thing for people in the bully game to overcome?

Taking losses and being able to bounce back.

How do you think they can overcome this thing?

Stay focused on your vision and do what it takes to achieve it.

Who do you look up to in the bully game, and why?

I look up to Xstack Bullies. Mr. Kong is a humble guy and has a killer camp. Also, TheBullyCampline George is killing it over there.

Tell us about one of Blvd Bullyz main goals for 2021.

My goal for 2021 is to produce some extreme micro bullies, and Isabella fluffy frenchies following my vision.

Describe how you would want things, in the bully breed Community, to be 10 years from now.

I hope ten years from now the bully game stays diverse with all different sizes, styles and qualities. I just want the bully breed to be a big welcoming community.

What separates Blvd Bullyz from the competition?

Right now what separates  Blvd Bullyz from the competition is that I have one of the smallest, most complete micro bully females in the game, hands down. She is everything I’ve ever wanted in a bully.

What other hobbies or interests do you take part in?

Other hobbies I like consist of going to the gym, staying fit, riding my motorcycle and working on muscle cars.

What do you think of Bully Girl Magazine

Bully Girl Magazine is awesome. There needs to be more like you. I appreciate your time, and the opportunity to give you some feedback. Keep it up!
